Athletic Club Fundazioa, our Genuine team, faces this weekend the first phase of the new 2022/23 season
The 2022/23 LaLiga Genuine season is already underway. Athletic Club Fundazioa will play this weekend in Tarragona its first three matches of the fifth edition of this competition full of emotions and excitement. As the LaLiga Genuine motto says: “Sharing before competing”.
The Genuine lions and lionesses will kick off on Saturday morning with a derby against Deportivo Alavés. In the afternoon, they will take on FC Andorra, before finishing their competition in this first phase with a Sunday morning match against SD Huesca.
The four phases of this fifth season kick off with the incorporation of two new teams, Fundación Real Madrid and Fútbol Club Andorra, bringing the total number of participating clubs to 44. Divided into three groups, Athletic Genuine has been placed in the Respect Group.
As a novelty, this year there will be three winners of the Fair Play trophy, one for each group. Precisely, the lions and lionesses of the Genuine have won this award in the first four editions.
