The XII edition of Athletic Club’s film festival will be held on November 18, 19, 20, 21, 25 and 26 at the Sala BBK in Bilbao
The XII edition of the Thinking Football Film Festival 2024 already has dates: November 18, 19, 20, 21, 25 and 26. Six days of soccer and cinema spread over two weeks: from Monday to Thursday between the 18th and 21st, and Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th after the weekend break. As usual, the Sala BBK will be the place where the films selected by the cultural team of the Athletic Club Foundation, in charge of organizing the festival, will be shown.
The Thinking Football film festival is one of the outstanding projects in the field of Culture that, together with Community and Inclusion, make up the three pillars of action of the Athletic Club Foundation. Fundazioa’s cultural projects advocate a different concept of soccer, using culture as an element of social transformation and soccer as an ally in the educational process of young people.

As always, the films chosen to participate in this year’s edition will tell human and social stories related in one way or another to the world of soccer. Each day, at the end of the main screening, the Foundation will organize the corresponding cineforum sessions to discuss the film and the topics covered in it.
