Igor Porset, accompanied by Gorka Iraizoz, talks about his book “Being Williams” with students from the IES Markina BHI institute
The Athletic Club Foundation has organized a new Reading Club for Igor Porset‘s book, “Being Williams”, with 4th year ESO students from the IES Markina BHI institute. If the previous time in Derio it was Carlos Gurpegui who accompanied Igor during the talk, this time it was the former goalkeeper Gorka Iraizoz who participated in the Reading Club. Galder Reguera, Project Manager of the Athletic Club Foundation, has been the moderator of this activity to promote reading in which around 20 students have participated.
The Athletic Reading Club in educational centers is a cultural initiative of the Foundation that is increasingly requested by the teachers of schools and institutes. On the one hand, students undertake to read one of the books published or promoted by the Foundation and, once the book is read, a discussion is organized with the writer. The presence of representatives of the Athletic Club, such as the authors Óscar de Marcos, Ainhoa Tirapu and Igor Porset, is what serves as a hook to promote reading among students.
