Athletic Club Fundazioa plays the last matches of the season in Vila-real
Athletic Genuine returns to the competition to play the last three matches of the season this weekend. It is one of the most eagerly awaited moments of the year, as the 44 teams that participate in the competition come together. If last year the final phase was held in Lezama, this time it is Villarreal CF’s turn to organise it. The lions and lionesses of the Genuine have travelled this morning to the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza, as always, full of joy and enthusiasm to defend the Athletic Club jersey.
The first opponent Athletic Genuine will face will be UD Ibiza, on Saturday, at 11:00 in the morning. In the afternoon, at 18:00, the clash against RC Deportivo de la Coruña awaits us. And the third and final match of the final phase will be held on Sunday at 11:00 against Real Zaragoza.
The fifth Fair Play Trophy at stake
Athletic Club Fundazioa, in the Respect Group, is currently leading the Fair Play ranking with 354 points. Therefore, it is the best positioned, for yet another year, to win the trophy that matters most in this competition: that of sportsmanship.
