Athletic Club Fundazioa plays the Third Phase of the competition in Burgos
After the great taste left by the Second Phase of LaLiga Genuine held in Lezama, it’s time for the Third Phase. Athletic Genuine returns to the competition in Burgos, at the Ciudad Deportiva de Castañares, where they will play the three matches corresponding to this penultimate phase.
The first opponent the Genuine lions and lionesses will face will be Real ValladolidDI, on Saturday, at 11:00 in the morning. In the afternoon, at 18:00, a derby against CA Osasuna awaits. And the third and final match will take place on Sunday at 12:00 against CD Lugo. Athletic Club Fundazioa, in the “Compañerismo” Group, once again leads the Fair Play ranking with 238 points.
Burgos – Leganés at El Plantío stadium
The opening party of the third phase will take place at the El Plantío stadium at 19:00 with a picnic dinner. In addition, the 350 or so participating footballers have been invited by the organisers to attend the Second Division match between the host team, Burgos CF, and CD Leganés.
In total, 33 matches will be played over the weekend between 22 of the 44 teams taking part in this social inclusion tournament. Under the slogan “Sharing rather than competing”, the festive atmosphere is guaranteed both on the pitch and in the stands. Our fans club “Peña Genuine”, as always, will add a touch of colour with its characteristic joy.
