Marcelino’s surprise visit puts the finishing touch to the first phase of LaLiga Genuine 2022
The first phase of LaLiga Genuine 2022 could not have started in a better way for Athletic Club Fundazioa. The team and its wonderful fans have had a wonderful time over the weekend. Marcelino García Toral has put the finishing touch to the last day with his unexpected appearance at the Mareo Football School, Gijón. Quite a surprise that the boys and girls of Genuine have received with real enthusiasm.
As always that accompanies the Genuine, the faithful zuri-gorri fans have been in charge of setting the necessary atmosphere so that the competition is a complete party throughout the weekend. Despite the bad weather on Friday and Saturday, there was no lack of scarves, flags or red-and-white chants, nor, above all, attitude and good humor so that the sporting spirit of the game prevailed.
There is less and less left for the Athletic Club Fundazioa to finally play at home, in Lezama. It will be in June, in the third and final phase of this recently started LaLiga Genuine.
