The Foundation continues its collaboration with Osakidetza in the process of humanising areas and treating children
The Athletic Club Foundation has sent Osakidetza hospitals a new batch of diplomas and stickers aimed at encouraging positive attitudes in children during their medical treatment sessions and interventions. The donation is part of the Pediatrics Project, through which the Foundation has carried out several actions in Bizkaia’s public hospitals, which include customising certain areas with superheroes that underline positive values, donating more than a thousand dressing gowns made out of Athletic Club shirts and football matches with players from the club’s first teams.
The diplomas and stickers-medals are used by health staff as a reward for children who face treatment (or check-ups, giving blood, vaccinations, etc.) with a good attitude, and are distributed through the hospitals to all health centres in Bizkaia.
