As part of the festival Literature and Footbal 2018, Athletic Club Foundation is launching an animation campaign for reading irakurLE-ON / irkaurLE-ONA, made up of four posters in which the players Ainhoa Tirapu, Mikel Balenziaga, Iñigo Lekue and Óscar de Marcos are portrayed reading books of Virginia Woolf, Eduardo Sacheri, Bernardo Atxaga and Jane Austen.
The idea of this campaign is to associate reading with a way of learning and knowledge, and at the same time, with a way of turning dreams into reality, for example, becoming a lion of lioness.
Posters will be send on demand to all the educational centres and football clubs in Bizkaia that require them, together with the book “Talismana”, made up of stories written for the occasion by the authors Katixa Agirre and Aixa de la Cruz and aimed at young readers. In the same book you will find the rules of the short story competition aimed at young people from 14 to 18 years old.
Literature and Football has the collaboration of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, Euskaltel and the Reading Incentive Plan 2017-2020 of the Ministry of Culture and Sport.
