Athletic Club Fundazioa, our Genuine team, faces this weekend the first phase of the new 2023/24 season
The new LaLiga Genuine 2023/24 season begins in style this weekend in Tarragona, bringing together the 46 participating teams. Among them, of course, Athletic Genuine, winners of Fair Play in the five editions played.
The lions and lionesses of the Genuine will kick off on Saturday at 12:00 noon with a match against Valencia CF. At 17:30 in the afternoon, they will face UD Almeria, and will finish their competition in this first phase with a match on Sunday morning at 12:00 noon against SD Huesca. All matches will be played at the Complex Esportiu Futbol Salou, with Nàstic de Tarragona as the host team.
LaLiga Genuine returns with the addition of two new teams, Real Racing Club de Santander and Racing de Ferrol. In addition, there will be two competition groups, instead of three as before, which will mean that at the end of the season there will be two Fair Play winners and two other clubs that are champions of the sporting classification. Athletic Genuine has been placed in the Inclusion Group, made up of 22 of the 46 clubs.
