New February challenge and January winners

The Sustainable Development Challenge for the month of February is related to SDG number 11, Sustainable Cities and Communities

A sustainable city is a city made up of neighbourhoods with a life of their own, in such a way that unnecessary travel and polluting emissions are avoided. One of the challenges related to SDG number 11, Sustainable Cities and Communities, encourages us to socialize and to live in the neighbourhood. To do this, it is important to know all the services that are less than 15 minutes walk or bike from our homes and with which we can cover our daily needs.

The challenge that the Foundation proposes to you in the month of February is to send us a photograph of one of those places in your neighbourhood that helps make cities and communities more sustainable. The contest is open to all audiences and it is very easy to participate. You can do it easily by filling out the form HERE. Among the prizes, an Athletic shirt and many surprises.

January winners

José and Aimar have been the winners of the Sustainable Development Challenges contest for the month of January. The theme was Trash Cooking and it was aimed at avoiding food waste. To do this, the challenge consisted of cooking a dish with the remains of the other and sending us a photo of the result. José has prepared an omelette with the leftover cod from the day before and added spinach. Aimar has used the leftover ham and prawns to make croquettes.

Soon, the Foundation will present the awards to both winners. Zorionak José and Aimar!
