Despite the pandemic, around 150 children enjoyed the recreational and sporting activities organised by the Athletic Club Foundation
The Athletic Club Foundation successfully organised the Christmas Campus, despite the numerous inconveniences caused by the coronavirus. 148 children attended the Lezama facilities and enjoyed the games, educational workshops and outdoor training sessions in small groups, in order to avoid any risk of infection with the Omicron variant.
In addition to the sports sessions, the young Athletic supporters visited San Mamés and the Athletic Club Museum and they were able to have a front row seat at a training session of the Athletic first teams to top it all off.
The Athletic Club Foundation would like to thank all of the parents for their trust in the organisation of the campus. Despite the uncertainty, the Foundation was able to organise the Christmas Campus in compliance with all of the relevant health measures. It was aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 14 and, at the end of each day, the parents received a brief summary of all the activities and news of the day. The Foundation is already working on organising the Easter Campus.
