The academic year corresponding to the expert title created jointly by the Foundation and the UPV / EHU is inaugurated
Representatives of the Athletic Club Foundation and the UPV / EHU inaugurated yesterday in the Juliana Agirrezabala lecture hall of the Bilbao Faculty of Education the academic year corresponding to the postgraduate course “Sports, Education and Coexistence: Protection of children and adolescents.” After the initial greeting by Jon Vázquez Eguskiza, general director of the Foundation, and Asier Romero, Dean of the Bilbao School of Education, three presentations were given that started the school year.
The intervention by Laura Mintegi, professor at the Bilbao School of Education, dealt with “The Foundation and education”. Iñaki Alonso, Head of Child Protection at Athletic Club, spoke about “Values in sport.” Finally, Gontzal Suances, from the Training Area of the Athletic Club Foundation, presented his experience in a class entitled “The protection of childhood, values and coexistence from the eyes of a footballer.”
