BERRIZTU

Berriztu is a non-profit association that has been in existence for 30 years. Its aims are to manage and develop quality interactional aid alternatives. It is made up of more than 2,000 people. The Foundation collaborates with Berriztu in the work that it carries out with children who have problems related to child-to-parent violence.

Berriztu targets it services at individuals, couples, families, groups and collectives who need this kind of help without any exceptions, such as minors, adolescents, young people, women, men, elderly people, ethnic minorities, immigrants, excluded people, people with disabilities of any kind, sick people… in short, anyone in need of help.

It provides services in the following areas: secondary education, gender-based violence, child protection, vocational training, juvenile justice, child-to-parent violence, psychotherapy, restorative justice, job placement and training/supervision. They are located in Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa, Alava and Navarre. They currently employ more than 400 professionals. It collaborates with the following public administrations: Bizkaia Provincial Council, the Basque Government, the Government of Navarre and several local councils.
