The Athletic Club Foundation values possible cooperation agreements with the Central American capital
Jon Vázquez Eguskiza, general director of the Foundation, received a municipal delegation from San Salvador, capital of the Republic of El Salvador, this afternoon in Ibaigane. The objective of the meeting has been the evaluation of the implementation of possible joint international cooperation projects.
Currently, the Athletic Club Foundation develops two projects in the Americas, one in Peru and one in Honduras, and studies the possibility of expanding its international aid to new countries. In both projects, “Bizkaia Koopera: Villagol and Athletic Villa” and “SERSO Honduras”, the Foundation establishes alliances with local entities that consider sport as a tool that favors integral development and social inclusion. The Athletic Club Foundation provides sports material to the project, as well as the on-site training of the educational technicians who lead the training sessions.
